The film starts with somewhat old familiar theme where a family starts living in a new house which seems haunted. The supernatural incidents taking place with the family members in the house are quite scary as compared to movies of similar genre.The tension developing regularly is good.
Interesting thing is that several deadly events of the past which are responsible for causing horror events are presented. Performance wise characters playing members of the family have done a decent job along with those shown as people curing supernatural occurring.
One of the most terrifying things shown in the movie is a doll which itself is possessed and appears regularly as the story proceeds but later that is within last half an hour movie again showcases older theme of exorcism where a human is possessed by some demonic force. The film claims to be based on a true story but it is you to choose what to believe and what not.
Overall, a good horror movie and one will not be disappointed if one is fan of these kinds.
