What ???

The ’’Da - Vinci code’’ uses a time tested formula to achieve bestseller status. Everybody loves a good conspiracy and thats what this book is basically, behind all the anagrams, numeric codes, symbols and so on. The fact that the conspiracy is based on the Church helps even more, after all, it is a dominant religion.

A lot of the history mentioned is quite well researched and informative, though the effect is spoiled by his effort to make this book an easy read. The thing that is most attractive about this book is the tact with which the author handles radical concepts, so the reader is intrigued rather than injured.

But, hey, you got to have an open mind for this book especially if you’re a practicing Christian. So thats my review - Nice book, not to be taken too seriously and best when borrowed from an unsuspecting friend.
