Phew..Well! Just completed reading novel THE DA VINCI CODE , and..man..what an awesome book it is. The story is made up of fictional and non fictional aspects in terms of characters , background (involving church) and the climax.
The story...of course ..has many twists and turns , in other words its a roller coaster experience.
The novel begins with Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon receiving an urgent late-night phone call: The elderly curator of the Louvre has been murdered inside the museum.
Near the body, police have found a secret message. With the help of a gifted cryptologist, Langdon solves the enigmatic riddle. But its only the first signpost along a tangled trail of clues hidden in the works of Leonardo da Vinci. If Langdon doesnt crack the code, an ancient secret will be lost forever.
Browns characters are fictional, but he swears that all descriptions of artwork, architecture, documents and secret rituals in this novel are accurate.
Where The Da Vinci Code does shine brilliantly is in its exploration of cryptology, particularly the encoding methods developed by Leonardo da Vinci, whose art and manuscripts are packed with mystifying symbolism and enigmatic codes.
Its story about the Church suppressing the truth that Jesus had a child with Mary Magdalene has convinced many fans.
The Da Vinci Code, by US author Dan Brown, has been a publishing sensation around the world and is still in best-seller lists.
Already many people have read the book , but still many of them are not aware of the secret messages trigerred by Da Vinci , Nor do I.Otherwise , it was wonderful reading DA VINCI CODE.
[P.S-Mr. Dan Brown , you are a wonderful novelist , we hope to see a sequel to this book, anytime in future.]
