Dan Brown’s books should have a warning as a preface note saying: “Not for Heart Patients”.
Even if you are not a heart patient then also you’ll get a heart attack. Dand Brown kills people by writing breathtaking books. The pace of the books is too great. The plot is superb in all the books and gripping and glues the reader to the book. Throughout the books you cannot even blink.
Da Vinci Code has already been acclaimed as an international bestseller so the words in this review may not be enough for its praise. The theme is too controversial and the action is too good.
It’s about an ordinary symbologist who gets involved in the murder of curator of the world known museum Louvre. And then the action starts and within 24 hours the story is over. Actually you would not take even half of that time to finish the book because of the speed.
I read this book because a friend told me that it was about a great controversy in Christianity. Being curious about the life of Jesus Christ, I read this book. But this book is not just about that, it has many more interesting things. Code breaking, mystery of Mona Lisa, the divine proportion ‘phi’ and many more exciting pieces of information add glory to this book.
This book has a no. of puzzles and codes which have to be broken to get to the ultimate truth. The book is full of surprises and twists. It is breathtaking. There is no element of boredom. The reader cannot leave the book without finishing it.
The characters are beautifully portrayed, especially Robert Langdon, the hero. The emotions of an ordinary man mixed up in a murder case and the search for truth have been displayed realistically. You might find yourself empathising with the hero.
I hope most of you have read the book already and enjoyed my review. For those who have not yet read it, go get it today.
