One of the best

Dear friends,

I am writing this review based on my experiences. The information here is not copied from any source whatsoever.

Coming to the review of The Da Vinci Code, I was recommended this book by one of my friends, saying, it is really great. Although I am a very avid reader, I kept postponing reading this book, for some reason or the other. Somehow I had felt that I would be experimenting by reading the book of an author unknown to me...how wrong I was! Once I bought the book on a weekend and started reading it, I just couldn’t keep it down. The storyline was interesting, fast-paced and kept me guessing what would happen next. Also, the characterisation of Dr. Robert and Sophie is done well. What mainly got me engrossed is that, there was a note in the preface by the author, saying every description of the paintings and architectures in this book are actually there, and not imagined by the author.

I managed to finish reading this book in a single day - perhaps that would help to know how much I loved it.

I would not go so far as to reveal the storyline or the plot here - it would be a shame to know something beforehand, something like telling the suspense in advance.

So finally, I would recommend reading this book very highly - although not his best work (in my opinion).
