I have not seen the movie, however, I have read the book and what I have to share is this -
Jesus came to earth in the form of a human being and as such IF what the book or movie
implies is true - why should we be surprised - He was human and would have had the same
feelings of a human being - why would it make it so wrong.
HIS main purpose was to find redemption for us and to die for us, so that we could live again and have the freedom to choose which way to go. This is a fact and what happened before this should not MATTER ONE IOATA.
Is our faith so shallow, that it changes, if change finds it. ?
For me, I found the story to be a good fiction and a well written book - FULL STOP.
I am not going to try to decipher or try to get into the authors mind to see if he thought, what he was writting was the truth - that is his problem, not mine.
So, my view is this, just enjoy the movie or the book for what it is - a good book./movie.
The reason I did not see the movie was that, it sounded like it was being "publizied" as being real and that was what I did not agree with.
During the course of our own lives, how many times have we fallen, so what standards we have to judge the SON OF GOD.
My faith will always be there, for I know that Jesus died for me and I have been saved from eternal damnation - what He may or maynot have done, is not for me to judge.
