The Departed was one of the movies I was really looking forward to watch since I read some good reviews in leading newspapers. and I must tell u the movie lived up to its expectations.
firstly its important to know that its a English remake of a super hit hong kong mandarin movie. coming back to the movie well The Departed is all about Leonardo DiCaprio, Jack Nicholson, and Matt Damon.
Jack Nicholson who is my all time favorite is playing the role of Irish mafia boss. there are only superlatives for him. the police department has been trying to nail him for long but has not been able to do so.
The police use its new recruit Leonardo DiCaprio who comes from a improvised and no so well to do background to infiltrate the dons den.
Matta Damon is the young guy who wants to make it big soon and has been of Don Jack Nicolsons pay role since he was a young boy joins the police department yet remains faithful to his foster father the Don.
The movie gets very intense as both the moles know that there is a mole on each side and they don’t know others identity. and their lives are at stake
there wont be a single moment that will make u divert from the screen. of the cast superlatives for everyone esp Damon Matt
five stars to the director.
for all those who love quality entertaining cinema you miss this one its a great loss.
