Once you get into the mall, there is no real ambiance to talk about.
The outlets which initially opened up have mostly closed up and gone away - now all you have are a couple of big names like Levis and Nike - all of the others are local low cost shops where there is no quality or selection.
Not many people frequent this mall - it is quite deserted most of the time. If you actually see about 20 people at this mall at one time, then that is a crowd!!!
Service from ost outlets is terrible except for the Levis outlet. This is because the persons who man the stores are the relatives or offspring of the owners and wouldn’t care less for providing service. To give you an example, I was at the Van Heusen outlet last year and bought a shirt which cost Rs. 910. I handed over Rs. 1000. The person manning the store did not have change and ran around trying to get some change. I had to wait for 40 minutes before this person reappeared with the change. Why couldn’t he just give e a Rs. 10 discount? I promised myself never to go to that outlet again. Needless to say, they’ve closed shop now.
As the outlets are manned by the persons described above, their friends hang out at the shops all the time and this deters visitors from getting into these outlets.
