The Famous Five

Imagine small villages with tea shops and picnics. You guessed it right! Its a famous five book. These books are probably Blyton’s best. I enjoy reading them even now. It traces the adventures of four kids and a dog. You can easily relate to the book.

Many of the adventures are based on Kirrin island, George’s own island.

George George is a actualy a girl who behaves like a boy. She hates being called by her original girlish name. She has a real temper just like her father. She is 11 in most of the books.

Julian Julian is a mature boy who is like the leader. He takes charge when George thinks of crazy ideas.

Dick Dick is Julian’s younger brother. Both of them go to the same schol and he is the same age as George.

Anne Anne is the timid little sister of Dick and Julian. They are very protective of her. She is portrayed as an innocent little girl. She is a homely little girl who does all the chores when they are away together on camp.

Timmy Timmy is the fifth member of the group. He is George’s dog and he is described as a large mongrel. He protects the four from criminals.

Hope my review was informative and do please try the books!
