What does one say about the Famous Five series, or for that matter, Enid Blyton? My family always had a keen interest in reading and I read almost all of Enid’s books. The lovely thing is, my son who is 10 years old now, has also developed an interest in Enid Blyton and has started with the Famous Five. These stories had all the elements that would interest a child. And believe it or not? I still read them now and then. I agree with most of you out there that these books should be propagated more and more, since the language is good and they are interesting.
