I watched this movie with my nineteen year old son and we both enjoyed it tremendously.
The cinematrography was good and so was the action.
What touched me most about this movie was the human element, in that when ones appearance changes, eventhough how close you maybe, it would be very difficult to accept it, and as human beings, we most of the time gauge everything by appearance [not all of us mind you].
It would take a really wonderful soul to look beyong appearance and find the beauty that was once there, and this is a very rare trait. Maybe we should all do more about cultivating this most precious trait.
I also realised that just by being different, one need not fear, because behind every change, good or bad, there is a higher purpose, for whatever happens, as it showed in the movie when the Fantastic Four used their powers to stop a really bad thing from happening.
Maybe when change finds us, we should have faith in ourselves, in what we were and what we had and find the strength and power in the new circumstances to do good with what is given to us, no matter the form.
It maybe a movie taken from a carton series, however, when you watch the movie and ponder on it, you will find there is more to this movie than meets the eye. You have to look beyond the written script and the acting and look at the moral of the movie.
I enjoyed this movie tremendously and came away with my believe in the human spirit to prevail in all circumstances, reinforced.
