The flash is a comic book fictional superhero who first appeared in 1956 and lately joined the DC universe.
The TV serial is an adaptation of comic book series which are set on the journey of flash becoming powerful and facing the new rivals
The show has the following characters mainly: The flash/Barry Allen, Iris West, Joe West, Cisco, Dr Kaetlyn Snow with Dr Harrison Wells.
The basic plot of the series is about Barry Allen who is a forensic scientist in the police department of central city who’s mother was killed by a man in yellow in his childhood in front of his eyes and suddenly he finds himself two blocks away from his house wondering what happened. His father gets into prison for murdering his own wife according to the police. Barry tells them the truth but no one believes him.
Now, Barry Allen has grown young and chases the murder mystery of his mother and to set his father free. One day STAR labs does an experiment on particle accelarater which accidently explodes and throws a cloud through out the city which makes a lighting and barry got struck by it and goes into coma. After 9 months when he is awake, he finds that he has become a speedster who is then praised every one in cetral city and get a name, The Flash.
The cast performance is really nice. Everyone plays an amazing amd entertaining role. However I feel Barry is shown more emotional and confused in the show which is not the tone of flash. Although the show is amazing and really entertaining and going through its 3rd season this year.
A must watch TV series for the flash fans.
