During the times when IPL was happening in vizag, I used to stay in The Gateway for 3 days.
As soon as I entered the hallway, I could see that the metal detector wasn’t switched on or not working or something. I even enquired the security gaurd next to the detector about it’s functioning and I haven’t got a filled answer.
Except that, I must tell that room was amazing. The view from my room was simply mesmerizing and I could live there for live.
Rooms were pretty clean and everything was perfect in the room. Food and bevarages were pre-supplied in the room. Washroom was nice and clean with some basic eminities like soap, shampoo etc!
Service was okay. I haven’t used their service much, just a few but they did what they have to, nicely.
Food was so over priced and I don’t think it’s a value for money thing! But room does!
If you visit Vizag and have a good budget, do prefer Gateway over other star hotels. You won’t regreat that much!
