Grotesque

Marilyn Manson has always been a revelation, this one time music industry journalist has always reinvented himself with the times.

In the beginning he started out as a core industrial rock junkie moving on later to hardcore pop bashing ’techno grunge rock’.

The GOLDEN AGE OF GROTESQUE captures all the essential Mansonia and then some

The shrills have been replaced with even darker lyrics not so subtly captured in the track ‘(s)AINT’ where he professes love with a bizarre twist.

The new line up roped in by Manson is upto the task, with the chaps contributing their hands on lyric writing also, the quality of which is disputable.. check out ‘’..

The rhythms are there, but you know what it lacks a basic spine unlike the other albums check out ANTICHRIST SUPERSTAR and SMELLS LIKE CHILDREN.

But I strongly recommend this album to all hardcore Manson fans only. The others would have their needs served better elsewhere
