In the effort to promote and resuurect rare and immortal compositions vintage poineers Keep Alive is celebrating veteran singer Manna Dey’s 88th birthday. The mumbai based mumbai troupe Keep Alive is organizing a grand musical tribute on May 1st at Shanmukhananda Hall, Kings Circle, at 6:30 pm. Well-known singer Gaurav Bangia will present immortal songs from films like Mashaal, Dekh Kabira Roya, Chori Chori, Bawarchi, Talaash, Upkaar, Waqt, Mera Naam Joker among others. Singers Vrushali Patil and Priya Joshi will support in the duets. The four hour concert will be presented by musicologist and vintage music expert Manohar Iyer, who will encapsulate the entire career graph of the great singer. Outstanding songs like Ritu aaye ritu jaaye, Re man sur mein ga, Laga chunri mein daag, Tere naina talaash, Zindagi kaisi hai peheli, Yeh bhai zara dekh ke chalo, Ae mere pyare watan, Kasme vaade pyar wafa will presented infront of a packed audience.
