In Jurassic world, A film released earlier this year, Dinosaurs are portrayed as blood thirsty reptiles as usual. But in The Good Dinosaur, An animation film from Pixar, Dinos are shown as cuddly, love able animals, especially the young, timid Arlo, an apatosaurus who had to embark on a long, eventful journey with a critter boy named Spot as his sole companion. What follows next is really absorbing drama, full of action, slapstick humor and emotional high points.
There are mind blowing scenes of storms, stampedes and fights. The end is quite moving. This film once again shows that animation movies, even when featuring fictional beings, can provide wholesome entertainment without injecting cheap thrills and sex into the plot.
Voices used are those of Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, John Ford, Sam Elliott and Jeffrey Wright, all of whom performed superbly.
