Amateurishly Directed, Too silly to Take Seriously

To explain that the Indian contingent at the Academy Awards 2013 will return empty handed would be an understatement. Indian cinema reached a new zenith with SHIP OF THESEUS(2013) and reached a new low when the FFI apparently consisting of prolific filmmakers from across the country sent this lazy and amateurishly directed Film THE GOOD ROAD...

Only silver lining being Shamji Dhana Kerasia’s excellently restrained performance. Background score was strictly okay.

Performances in  the lead roles are strictly mediocre.Plot involves the stories of three families connected by an incident in an highway.

As silly the premise may sound, it is in fact ploddingly dull and even the run length of 90 odd minutes seems so long you can harvest a mango tree in between.

All’s not well with the films that are being sent from India for the global audience to see...Strangely, this trend will continue..and more strangely, people in the country wont bother about this....Such is the state of our cinema and the so-called FFI....
