I am such a fan of the real dhabas that I would never have gone to try a wannabe dhaba place in a city. After hearing a lot about this place and crossing it so many times, I visited it with my colleagues for a lunch buffet. The setting reminded me of north Indian highway dhabas and full marks for the ambience. The only concern is that it was way too crowded with limited options for food.
They serve starters on the table which were all okay. Nothing exceptional there. The live chat counter offered some good options. The main course was very okay with everything tasting good enough. I did not find any item worth mentioning specifically here.
Have to give credit to the variety of breads they have. We tried onion Kulcha, garlic naan, ulte tawe ki roti and lacha paratha. Quite good all of them, perfectly baked.
They had a variety of sugarcane juice and other mock tails as well, but we didn’t try.
The service was fine, in fact the waiters were a little too intrusive/enthusiastic. Don’t you hate it when the waiters keep staring at your plate of food and jump to serve the next round as soon as you are even close to finishing what’s on your plate. Well spread out place, tried to create the dhaba style interiors.
Given the price, I believe it was worth but the food quality can be improved. What impressed me the most is the ambience. Nothing great about the food and very bad service.
