The Home Town a store within this mall has been advertising a ’Great Indian Shopping Festival’ since December even through television commercials. After we bought products at this store we were taken to a counter where with much hoopla we were given a Pass Book and stickers worth the amount purchased in the store.
Each sticker entitled SKC aka Soni Ki Chidiya is equivalent to Rs500 purchased in the store. These SKC were pasted in the Pass Book. The Pass Book clearly indicated specific assured gifts for these SKC.We were told to collect these from the Big Bazaar - which we did only to be told that the assured gifts were over ! We went several times but the assured gifts were never given.
The Home Store was informed. No help was rendered to us. Our nerves are grated, our energy pooped with the repeated quest with a Pass Book or should it be called a Spoof Book?
