Let me tell you about my favorite eatery in Hyderabad. It is called Tiwari brothers and is located at the Khairatabad cross roads in Hyderabad. It has been around for donkeys years and I have been enjoying their preparations since then.Finally it struck me that I should pay tribute to them!
I am a fan of all junk food just as much as the next person. Burgers, pizzas et al. This place is centrally located, is spacious, quiet and is best described as a combination of white marble, air conditioning, agarbathi odour and mantra sounds in the background, at times.
Now, in the fore ground is a curious tongues playground. Sweets, savouries, various kinds of chat of a very different ( heavenly) kind, milk shakes, sandwiches, traditional Indian snack and tiffin items, platters, meals, special Sunday specials..etc etc. In the interest of Brevity I am forcing myself from going into the details of the dishes.
But let me tell you this. This place is clean and so are the guys behind the counter.All with neatly oiled and combed hair and in their crisp Maroon uniforms.
The food is always fresh, warm and just like it is at home.No commercial taste...if you know what I mean.Two individuals can feast upto a full stomach for just Rs.150! If you want to eat, tasty, clean and interesting fare try this place. You will go back for a long time to come!!
