Not for today`s technology

After being old enough to watch david banner in the original ’’The Hulk’’, scepticism tempted me to watch this film and I can only say that only the half decent plot of this film ’’grabbed me’’. Todays technology can be of great benefits. You only have to see new films coming out and watch how (like ’’The Matrix’’), the effects can improve a film, but like I said, the effects of the new film ’’The Hulk’’ for me, has totally ruined it. Sure, the effects weren`t available when the ’’Hulk’’ first came out, but look how popular it was. Young viewer`s who have seen this new version may add their comments and say that the film was good and thats fair comment but again todays technology can make a re-run of a film look totally rubbish, and this is a prime example. Camera shots could have been a lot better and some close=ups were not needed and if it wasn`t for Nolte, the script could have been written with a bit more care and thought. The wardrobe and casting were good but thats the only good parts of the whole film. Music i`m afraid didn`t ’’alert’’ me.

Anyone wanting to see this film, I would say go for it and enjoy but, if, like me, you saw the original years ago then I will say, be prepared to be dissapointed. You would have to watch this with an older family member and convince them the film was worth its money.

5/10 for overall film content.

10/10 for the effort of trying to make a better job of a once brilliant series.
