The museum is mainly the collections of British periods and which speaks the legacies of freedom fighters and their struggle against the British rule to make our country free from their clutches. It mainly depicts the historic achievements of Indian national Army(INA) which was formed by Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose during World War of British regime. It also reflects the history of its activities in Manipur during the World War. The collection have the contents of hand written books of freedom fighters, their poetry for the country, pistols, dresses, shoes etc.
All makes you feel and realize how our freedom fighters have given life for their country by fighting against the British. The museum is developed in a big house manner with well organised movement of visitors inside the museum. It will take around two hours to explore the entire museum. Last, but not the least, taking photograph inside the museum is highly prohibited and is viable to penalized action if taken. The checking of the visitors by deputed personnel is strict because of the security reasons. So, kindly cooperate with them. Smooth transition will make the visit a great experience and fun.
