This movie sucks in all levels. Michael Bay has taken all his tried and tested formulas and showcased it in this movie. Its a combination between Sixth Day and a hosts of other escape movies.
This is a movie where Steve Buscemi was the only highpoint... what else is there to say?
Well, the camera work is pretty decent.
Sean Bean is again wasted in a role that has no use for him. Think Ronin, Equilibrium, etc... he is a good actor who never gets the right roles.
Ewan, we loved you in Trainspotting and A Life Less Ordinary... tolerated you in the Star Wars prequels, but this outing is pathetic... Now that you have the money, give us the cult classics.
Scarlett... this after Lost in Translation? Baby, what happened?
Djimon... dude, get a real role. This, and Tomb Raider 2? Dumb and dumber, anyone?
And finally, Mr Bay... car chases and explosions are not what make a movie. Thanks for Bad Boys and The Rock. Now, give us something new.
