Awesome trip with the most scenic views.

My last trip to London was in the month of May 2005, when I went to visited my daughter. After a gap of almost three years I got an opportunity to visit London again in 2008.This time my stay was from Nov 2008 to April 2009. So I can say I enjoyed all seasons of the country. I left for UK via Jet Airways from Delhi reached there same day enjoying comfort & luxuries of Premiere class of Jet Airways.(Here I must make a note & clarify that while traveling in Economy class in Air India last time I had to face the problems of cramped place & small uncomfortable seats.)After a stay of few days in London when I got over jetlag. My friends & relatives came to see me. We all planned to have some good enjoyable time.

My son recommended, ’ Isle of Wight’ after going through internet & checking all the details. Of course the Isle of wight is most famous for its fabulous scenery & fine weather. In fact in winters one can enjoy many charming attractive places which that stay open through winter season. Finally we first took a train for Waterloo station & from there we reached Portsmouth Harbour.Where we got a fast sailing ferry named as, ’FastCat’. It took around 20 minutes & we were in Sandown.

We thought of staying in one of the BnB across the esplanade at Sandown. We could see the beautiful view of sea from the window of hotel. We took some rest at the BnB room with a hot cup of tea & left the place for sightseeing in moonlight walking. In such a peaceful time we felt as if the waves are giving message of, "Karma" peacefully to man kind. There’s so much to entertain to all visitors young & old. We were all out with our camera’s to catch the beauty of setting sun with reflectionof rays on the sea waves. After breakfast we started from the hotel towards the bus stop(here open top buses run frequently from Yarmouth ferry terminal to the park) for the, " Needles at Alum Bay". "Needles is the islands most famous attraction. The point is you have so much to enjoy with the world famous views & dazzling multicolored sand cliffs are just the right kind of beginning of a perfect pleasure packed day out for the family and remember the park is free to enter ride & other attractions are pay -you-go, so you can decide how long the fun goes on!There are so much to see & enjoy for all age group.

First of all we went & visited Shopping Emporium. This emporium reflects the image & style of the nineteenth century Alum Bay pier which brought many visitors to AlumBay by paddle steamer in Victorian times. Here you get quality gifts & souvenirs.Children can have fun with Needles teacup ride. Then we enjoyed watching craftsmen work who create some of the finest glassware available today. The chair lift ride to the beach & back, the unique view of the world famous colored cliffs, needles Rocks & Light house will be among your all time great holiday memories! We then enjoyed boat trip for a close view of dramatic Needles Rocks & light house. We cannot forget Fabulous Fire works later that evening, It made the day unforgettable for us. One thing is good about this place that no one stays hungry here because one can get delicious snacks & hearty meals at all time.

Its a must visit place if you are in the UK especially in London as its very well connected and very cost effective.
