IF you are my kinda person who liked bhatt camp’s Gangster and kalyug , than their latest offering THE KILLER is just for you.
After watching first day last show and when I am just beginning to write a review of this movie , Believe me! its something that I least expected.
I mean that I was forcibly taken to the theatre by one of my cousin who was also just interested in the actress of the movie...........mmmmmmmmm sexy siren Nisha kothari.( and man she is hot )
After knowing that its a bhatt movie and has Emraan hashmi , one gains the feeling that movie will be HOT. One can easily guess that it will have some raunchy sleezyy smooching kissing scenes and whatever.......(i dont want to get in that)..............................BUT if your thinking is same here than you are a POOOR chap.
KILLER HAS NO KISSING SCENES , NO GOOD SONGS , NO SILLY SAME STORIES , NO SENSELESS COMEDY . HERE, IT IS A MOVIE WHICH DESERVES ALL THE APPLAUSE AND APPRECIATION .But one very serious flaw here is that it is a ditto remake of HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER THE COLLATERAL.
It is a serious work of art by debutant directors raksha mistri and Hasnain hyderabadwala. Three cheers for this combo !( don’t get into that I myself dont know them )
It is brilliantly glared by seriously serious actor irfaan khan(vikram).The conversations in the movie between him and Emraan ( nikhil )are so lively and refreshing , that makes this movie a must watch ....even if you have seen collateral. Our desi collateral has some serious comedy and very smartly done. You will like even if you have an ant like sense of humour (i dont hv this much also).
Movie is fast , you dont need to even think that when it will finish and once finished you will get the feeling of every penny paid. It has something that make it different from other movies ..............WHAT?/@?.........I DONT KNOW..........Something never tried earlier . A KILLER type of movie..........have you seen any earlier .........where one kills 4 persons in single night and what?( he kills each target with essence and style !)
COMING to emraan hashmi , HE is there to stay in bollywood , that’s for sure , whether his films have smooching or not , good songs or not. His character in the movie is like a person who adapts itself for different situations and is done brilliantly , like any other normal person.(that u wil see )
And the best part our heroine........nisha..........who is there in the movie just for songs .............or I can say..............merely to attract me.................or............us with those sexy b**bs and jhatkas( I hope am not getting too personal here )......She should do more movies c’mmon mam .............i mean man ........she is pretty. (DAMNN!)(i can write a endless review on her.........hope my gf ain’t reading........dont worry dont have one)
Earlier I was thinking that I will watch only pirates of the carribean2 this week and after accidentally getting into the killer .......am feeling proud so far ..but also definately watch poc2 later .
Irfaan khan’s charisma is impressing .....and he has shown that he can carry a whole film single handidly. His last year flick ROG was super duper flop ! (Remember………ROG………..kal raat maine…apni jaan lene ki koshish kii) . HERE he is rocking like johny depp in the pirates. His assignment of doing jobs ............jobs of killing persons will remind you of a GTA PC or ps2 game , if you have played any .
The ending or climax is equally well executed .You will also like one scene of nikhil going to high security don’s house , and how he cope up with his fears.
Overall it is a time passing fast movie with some splendid performances , a fine example of copying hollywood flicks artistically..........but have no complaints about it.!
IT HAS 2 GOOD SONGS ALSO.BUT REST ARE CLUELESS.
STORY PLOT
THE STORY BEGINS WITH A LOVE ANGLE BETWEEN NIKHIL AND RHEA WHERE NIKHIL IS A TAXI DRIVER AND NISHA IS A BAR DANCER . NIKHIL HAS ITS OWN UNIQUE DREAM OF BECOMING A FAMOUS BHAI (GANGSTER) BUT LATER IN THE END HE REALIZES THAT A COMMON MAN IS A REAL HERO. HIS REAL INNER SELF COMES OUT WHEN HE REALIZES THAT THE PASSENGER (VIKRAM) WHO IS SITTING AT THE BACK IS A KILLER WHO HAS BOOKED NIKHIL’S TAXI FOR A WHOLE NIGHT TO KILL PEOPLE. HE FOUND HIMSELF IN A SITUATION WHERE HE CANT HELP TO GET OUT (DUBAI POLICE THINKS THAT NIKHIL IS THE KILLER) AND FOLLOWS VIKRAM’S ORDERS .STORY IS ALL ABOUT HOW HE SAVES HIMSELF AND HIS LOVE INTEREST IN THE MOVIE.
