Hey all...i had been to GOA on a short tour for 4days/3nights. The experience at the leela was just great. To start with the food...we were served a good complementary breakfast. The breakfast was more or less like having a good stuffed lunch.
The lunch and dinner was of course not on the house..all although is quite expensive..but was good. Moving to the rooms...a pinch of aristocratic luxury. The beach...leela is quite proud to have a good long beach..spick and span - very clean and tidy. The warmth of the members of the leela rippled in the air...very friendly. The Swimming pool, open from 8:30 am till 9:30 in the night...a big open - neat and tidy. During dinners..the hall was filled with dances from the natives. The service was at a good speed.
The only cons that I do find is as follows :
The gym although was very well equipped, I guess the standard of the equipments need to be improved.
The architecture of the hotels - the rooms are in midst of a logoon. The air was filled with some kind of a funny smell - could be due to monsoon !!.. not sure.
In epitome, I do give a rating of 4.5 out of 5.
