Its revisionist, anachronistic,weird and beautiful

The legend of tarzan is adapted from a series of boy’s adventure books written in the early 1900s, whwn racial and social awareness wasn’t anything close to what it is today. three stars seems fair for this movie. not excellent but not bad. more or less managed to add some believable socio-political issues to(shock horror) make an OK hollywood film plot. fun saturday viewing. just one question.was it the often "washed oyt" nature of the colour palette or did Samuel L. Lackson not wear purple?
