What was supposed to be a happy childhood for Simba and his best friend, Nala, turns into a fight for his rightful place on the throne. Scar plots with a trio of laughing hyenas(Shenzi, Banzai & Ed) to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, and then making himself King.
