The lion king is the recreation of the famous anomated movie with the same name. Just the animation is replaced by CGI. The story of the original movie is kept unchanged. But watching the movie just didn't felt like watching an animated movie. Every experience was clear. It seemed like we were lost in the movie.
The story is of a lion and his son and his evil brother who wants to overthrow his brother and become the lion king. The story revolves around the main character Simba who tries to regain his father Mufasa's kingdom.
Mufasa's voice is given by Shah rukh khan in hindi and Simba's voice is given by Shahrukh's son Aryan Khan. The villain Scar's voice is given by Ashish Vidyarthi.
The comedy factor is given by Timon and Pumba who's voice is given by Shreyas Talpade and Sanjay Mishra. Timon and Pumba will surely make you laugh very hard.
This is a movie which is for all audience. It seems like an animation movie is only for kids but it is not so. Anyone can enjoy this movie for sure. A father-son bond is shown very beatifuly.
The visual effects of the movie are exeptional. These seems one step ahead of the masterpiece "Jungle Book". The expressions on the face of the animated character is very real.
The story narration is very impressive too. Two hours passes in no time because of the interest we develop in the movie.
The music is nice too and above all is where it was needed. Yes there are some scenes which seems a bit longer than need but the experience which the movie provides is so good that you can easily forget those.
So lion king is a good movie which you should watch with your family and specially if you have kids. It's not a sort of time waste and money waste. The two hours in the theater will surely give you a good experience.
