Based on the work by Jerome Bixby and directed by Richard Schenkman, the movie begins at the house of Mr. John Oldman (David Lee Smith) an academician who is departing from his place. His colleagues gave him a surprise when they arrived at his home for throwing a departing party for him.
While partying they start a round of discussion, the discussion took an interesting turn when John putted forward that he is a Cro-Magnan and is living on this earth for the last 14000 years. At first his colleagues didn’t believe in him. But when John substantiated the questions raised by his intellectual colleagues, some started believing in him.
The emotions emanating from the group during this discussion was spectacular. Some felt envious, some were finding reasons to defy what John was saying, some were finding logic behind it. in a nut shell everybody present there were all confused except John himself. He told that he is inspiration for people who wrote about Jesus. he has moved across the geographies and generations and he never ever aged. The story took a turn when after request from a colleague to stop all it up if he is telling a lie and stop baffling them John admitted that it was just a story & his colleagues himself created a scene to plot this story. However by this time I had guessed correctly that what is going to come next. But still the story ended giving me a shock which I couldn’t have thought of.
