The martian is based on a popular novel. Its a story about an astronaut who gets left behind on the planet mars as his crew thought he died during an emergency evacuation from the planet. Mark wakes up and finds that he was left behind. He rations hos food supply and grows potatoes on his own waste. NASA attempts to send supplies but it fails, the chinese then comes to the rescue. The ares crew after a proposal from an astrophysisist decides to slingshot arond the eart and head back to mar while watney uses the ares 3 MAV to get to mars’s orbit for rendezvous with the crew. They movie is so detailed and accurate I just loved it! Wonderful performance matt.
