Well all those who have seen Christopher Nolans Interstellar "Between the stars" last year and were probably scratching your heads to get the science part to go into your head, you all have an equally great movie and guess you did not even have to make an effort as the movie is simple yet fascinating plot with some pun to keep you engage throughout your journey.
Well what does a fellow need to survive on Mars?
In one word: [Food(joking)], **Its Science**.
In other words: ***Optimism, Nerdi-tude, human perseverance, cooperation*** etc.
Not to mention a duct tape and songs .
But above all its Science.
Based on Andy Weirs book in 2035 Matt Damon stars as an astronaut( also a botanist and engineer) mistakenly presumed dead and left behind at Mars. The film depicts his struggle to survive and others efforts to rescue him.
There are equally noticeable performances from Jessica Chastain, Ejiofor but Matt steals the show by putting one of his best performances yet compared to his Goodwill Hunting.
Martian is entertaining not because how it ends, that you would probably guess but from watching a bunch of really smart people how to get there. The entire movie with occasional funny elements just manage to put you right where you can have the best experience of watching the movie.
Well in short Ridley Scotts one of the better films in the years features one of Matt Damons best performances taking all the romance out of Mars and substituting in its place Science, Co-operation, human perseverance and few other words already mentioned above.
