At many times we feel that we are dreaming and it’s so realistic. You feel like you were a superman, with all the power you had , speed faster than light, you could do all kinds of stunts, you could be rich when you want and you could be a handsome and good looking when you want. The director of Matrix used some of these imaginations with use of amazing technology to give us one of the finest movie ever made.
Before, actually I start my review let’s read some conversation of Morpheus & Neo
What is Matrix…
Morpheus: You have a look of a man who accepts what he sees…because he is expecting to wake up….Ironically this is not far from truth..
Morpheus: Do you believe in fate?
Neo: No. I don’t like the idea that I am not in control of my life.
Morpheus: I know exactly what you mean…
Morpheus: you are here because you know something. What you know you cant explain, but you can feel it…..This is the feeling that is brought you here..
Morpheus: Matrix is everywhere all around us, even now in the room, you can see it when you look out of the window, you can feel it when you go to work or go to church, when you pay your taxes…
Morpheus :you are a slave, like you have been born in to bondage, born into a prison, which you can’t smell or touch.
“Matrix is a computer generated dream world, built to keep us under control, in order to change a human being into a battery.
THE MATRIX…
Director Duo Andy Wachowski, Larry Wachowskimust had tough time, explaining the cast of this Movie, what it is all about. Because, they are the only 2 people who must have really understood, what is Matrix is all about.
The movie is about Thomas Anderson (Keanu Reeves) who leads a 2 life, something like Dr Jekly and Mr Hyde, where in he is working for a very big software company as a Programmer and does his normal 9 to 5 jobs and in the other life, he is known by the name Neo, the hacker and is responsible for all the major computer crimes.
During this, he is being contacted by a person, Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) , who is the captain of ship. He thinks Neo is the savior for the cause which he is fighting. The cause for which he is fighting is really complicated to believe but the movie is so fictional and well made that you won’t mind.
According to Morpheus, in the coming future AI (Artificial Intelligence) has taken over the human race. Morpheus has unraveled a secret, the truth about mankind, and it turns out that the world has been enslaved by machines who use neuro-biological stimuli to create a make-believe world we live in - the Matrix! According to a Oracle prophecy one man will break the reign of the machines and bring down the Matrix, and Morpheus is convinced that ’’Neo’’ is the One. According to him, we human’s don’t give birth in those era, but we are actually grown and energy is being pulled out from the baby, which helps these machines to live for ever. Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss), is one more hacker who actually along with Neo fights the agents.
Neo is supposed to be the only person as fast and swift as these machines, hence Morpheus thinks that he is the only person to save them from the Agents (Computer Viruses). These agents led by Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving), (My favourite, especially the accent with which he speaks…His fav line…”Mr Anderson”) are trying to capture Morpheus and get the secrets from him.
There is no point in revealing the further plot, it would be understood and enjoyed only by viewing it.
CASTAWAY…
The entire cast of this movie is really handpicked and has done real justice to this movie. KR, is probably the best person to do the role of Neo and actually more than his acting, his ability to do the stunts, was the real Hero of this movie.
LF as Morpheus is amazingly cool and composed, and he has taken the role of Captain in a perfect manner. But my pick of cast is Trninty (Carrie-Anne Moss), man, this female has got some attitude and the way she has done those stunts really COOOL!!!
But, the real star of this movie is the amazing stunts and the graphics used. I have never seen a movie made with such explicit use of graphics and the rope stunts. Some amazing scenes of the move not to be missed are….

Scene 1 : Don’t miss the opening sequence where Trninty fights the officers and the agents and she flies in the air and gives a kick….(Too Good)
Scene 2 : The Training Fight between Morpheus and Neo
Scene 3 : The fight between Agent Smith & Neo at the Platform.
Scene 4 : The sequence where Neo dodges the bullets…
So my pick is “Scene 1 “
Soundtrack …
Again, without a heavy duty Industrial Rock this movie wouldn’t have got the same touch. Along with the stunts, the soundtrack used is simply superb and every time you watch matrix you feel it’s in you.
Something to Ponder...
There is a scene in the movie, where Morpheus and Neo are in the computer generated world and a red lady comes in the scene and then Morpheus Freezes the entire surrounding. If you watch the scene closely, you will see that all the people used in surrounding are either duplicate or triplets. You have 2 or 3 similar images of them.
Achougoo’s view and really thing to ponder...’’Actually the oops is not an oops. The scene u’ve mentioned...duplicate and triplicate is correct and not an error. It was a training session wold created (programmed) and duplicates were just there to populate. ’’
Conclusion…
Unfortunately no one can be told what Matrix is all about, you have to Feel it and see it…
Don’t miss this movie for life, because I have seen this movie at least for 25times and I have got the DVD for this movie, hence I watch it at least once in a week.
