Let me give you an info for starters;
Imagine the concept of artificial intelligence of robots and mans increasing dependance (by the way isn’t our dependance on comps a little scary ??? )
Imagine a world in which humans are nothing but a energy battery like nippo ? wherein our energy is used to fuel the machines imagine a make believe world in which we are blinded by the fake world imagine hacking into the matrix wherein you can load anything u want from guns to bikes, wherein you learn how to drive a helicopter in 5 mins sounds impossible and unconvincing then I suggest u go see the matrix ...
Imagine a world in which when we eat a pizza the matrix tells the brain that it is tasty ... where everything is make believe.
Would you have the guts to wake up and see the real world a dark place of tunnels in which men live in constant fear ????
This movie is a celebration of the human spirit over machines ...
~~A hacker Neo (keanu r )is given a choice by an unknown man morpheous(lawrence F) and a woman Trinity (carrie annie moss who looks GREAT smashing ) who belive that neo is the chosen one the reincarnation of the man who first started freeing people from the fake world - the martrix. The forecast is told by an oracle to morphy.
Enter the villian a program or agent who by the way is unbeatable, can take any form and enter and can enter and exit from any human who is still not freed. These agents are faster and their strength is unbeliavable in short they are invincible see an agent and the best thing is to run and hope you’ll live but morphous knows that neo the choosen one is faster and stronger than his counterpart..........
There is a place deep underneath the earth where the freed humans live called xion. However the machines have been looking to destroy it and delete ()the comp word ) the human resistance.
Neo is freed and he learns how to behave in the real world how to move how to fight and how to beat the agents .... he learns kung fu druken boxing teakwondu jijutsu you name it he learns it ( thorugh a floppy disk while he is in the matrix ...... how creative can you get and how simple!)
Does neo survive ? does the human race triumph or is the battle beginning ?

And now my take
The movie is brilliant, it is certainly diff from other man vs machine/alian movies like the predator ...
It has a splendid blend of phiolosophy and sci fic and man superb slow motion mind blowing action sequence, man they are great ...
Like the lord of the rings the creators have crreated a diff world of programs and agents and the matrix is immensely enjoyable.
The plot is good and hey a movie is such a departure from those reg bad guy vs good guy movies....
Like the lord of the rings the movie’s end is teasing and that I believe is sensible marketing you make the audience gasping for more ...
The oracle also makes intresting prophecies like trinity falling in love with the choosen one ...... the concept of ai + philosophy+sci fic + kung fu + diff plot what a mix what more do u want in a movies
Perfomances of the top 3 are excellent ....
The bet part of the movie I believe is that it allows the characters you know to develop its not like those dumb action movie in which the hero appears mute...
So thats it ... part 1 of my review on the series called The Matrix ....
