Just Watched The Mummy And here is my Review.
I will make this really short and sweet because to me this movie was really simple and disappointing.I was Super excited to see great film to kick of this new monster universe that universeal is doing and we got an ok movie at best.I had some enjoyment in the movie and still walked out wanting to see where this universe will go, but the movie fell flat to me.
A big problem for me was that the tone was all over the place.This movie didnt seem to know whether it wanted to be an action adventure like the brendan fraser Mummy films or whether if wanted to be a hortor movie.The jokes fell flat, I dont think anyone in my theatre laughed and the ’Comic Relief’ character was just stupid.
Overall : - I will just say dont rush to see this movie, its just Ok.I left still wanting to see where this universe is going but also disappointed.This is easily weakest movie of Tom cruise’s career.
