The Nest is one of the new additions to the Ameerpet area (I have not been to the one located at Secunderabad). This little known restaurant located just off the main road has services on the ground floor and first floor.
The restaurant is neat and well maintained, though you won’t be impressed by the furniture and ambience. The interior is spacious and keeps you relaxed even during peak hours (In direct contrast to comparable restaurants of the big - bad Mumbai). The service and feel is business like, but what comes out very well is their food. I have found the vegetarian food quite good and service very prompt. The space on the first floor is partly reserved as a banquet hall hosting get-togethers, which could possibly disturb the diner.
The other attraction is the concept of limited fare lunch, which is cheap without compromising on quality.
A little trip to this nest is always included in my timetable whenever I visit Hyderabad. I would definitely recommend it to friends.
