The Orchid Hotel which is located near Domestic Airport, Santacruz was the first place I had actually met a celebrity real close. At that time Hrithik had just made his debut movie....Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. And we all were just crazy to meet him that we didn’t care where it was!!!!! We had received free passes (family) from the company that was sponsoring. I remember the day too....26th April 2001. Thursday.
We reached and just hurried in coz we were late. When we entered the lobby our pace dropped and what we saw actually took our breathe away. The interiors were fabulous......especially the fountain. As we started exploring....we remembered what we were there for. We had to be actually dragged to the place we were actually meant to go in the first place (the terrace). The buffet dinner was just great. But I just lost my appetite to the dream world I was in.
So.....you see I just saw the lobby, the terrace and the front area. So its not like I saw much......But I must tell you the place is fantastic!!!!!!
