The Power of Habit is a book written by Charles Duhigg. This book tells deeply about habit in detail. The book uses several researches and examples which helps us in understanding the actual


meaning of habit. To develop a habit, one must have to follow three steps which are: -


1.Why you want to develop that habit? 2.Make a routine to exhibit the new habit.


3.Give reward after completing it.


These three points are the key of it.


One can change their existing bad habits by asking few questions which are related to bad habits.One can address an alternative to slowly get respite from the bad habit.


If one wants to change or make a new habit in life, it is much more important to do it slowly with time.An example of it. The new CEO of Alcoa Aluminum Company focuses on the cleaning of the company areas which resulted in the gain of company by five times in the upcoming year. The staffs found an easier and safer way to produce aluminum for which the company started to get a lucrative amount. The cleaning of company refreshes the mind of members of company to think better and develop new ideas which in turn give company a good profit margin.


The branded and reputed company uses our habit to sell their good which in turn help us in our daily life or helpful in solving our problems.The company understand the users habit therefore they manufacture those products which users love to purchase and the company easily earns the profit. A new song is introduced between two hit songs so that the new song also becomes hit.


The bad habits are the impediments of one’s life so it must be in good control. The bad habits push one to do larger mistakes which ultimately leads one to a big loss. The presence of bad habit can be dangerous for a person to take a good step in one’s life. Habit is the keystone for which we can succeed or failed in life depending on which type of habit we carry.
