What would happened if you wake up one day and finds out you are of a royal blood? I would think most of us would be happy about it. What if you were like the most unpopular girl in school, and the sort of girl that feels inferior about herself because how she looks like? (It doesn’t help if the popular kids think you were the freak of the world) Mia Thermopolis (ANNE HATHAWAY) is the girl - who one day found out she was like a princess in some unknown country in Europe. She was known as the most unpopular girl in school - the kind of girl that most popular kids would avoid. Funny hair - goofy glasses and like very peculiar at most. Everyone but her friend and her friend’s brother notices her. When news broke out she was a princess - things went on a bad way and she had to decide about her life. People may try to take advantage of her. People try to take pictures of her when she is most vulnerable. And the only people she could depend on weren’t the ones that think that they should hitch on the ride of the new Miss Popular’s new title, but those who were always with her when she was the invisible Miss Unpopular.
It is generally a good family movie and a nice story to watch. So take a Sunday off and bring the family to watch the movie. You won’t regret it
