A keyboard I ordered on ebay was it shipped on June 5th to my address in Kochi thru Professional couriers. The courier website showed that the package reached kochi on jun 8th.
As I didnot receive it till 12th, I called their Kochi phone number. The person who answered the call
asked me to call at another number which handled parcels. After many attempts someone picked the call on 13th.
I gave the tracking number to the person who picked the call, he said that parcel has not reached. When I told him it has reached Kochi on 8th as mentioned in the website, he did not give me a proper response, but asked me from where was it sent. I replied that I do not know, as it was ordered online. He said if it is sent somewhere from North India it will take 5 days to reach. He then wanted to know the weight of the package, is it more than 5Kg, to which I answered that I didnt know. As he could not trace the package, he gave me another number to call which happened to be a wrong number(not sure if he deliberately gave it wrong).
Then I sent an email to the Kochi office mail ID and inquired for the delivery date.
They replied within a few minutes. Instead of giving me a date, they asked for the address
to which the parcel is to be delivered (as if address is not mentioned on the parcel). Though I promptly replied with the address, and there was no further response from them.
On 14th, someone from the courier office called me asking the exact location
of my address. The parcel was finally delivered same day, but **6 days after it arrived
at Kochi.** It is not the delay, but their pathetic response towards customers that irked me.
This courier is professional only in their companys name, not a bit in their service.
