This is to bring to your attention the loss of a very important document booked with your courier service and the subsequent, pathetic handling of the issue by the staff of The Professional Couriers
We had booked a very important document through Professional Couriers, Whitefield branch at on the 25th of July 2008. The document was booked from Bangalore to Hyderabad.
The document did not reach Hyderabad even after a week and when we started enquiring with the local branch manager Mr. Ravi - he assured us that he will track the document and update us. But he never called us back and we had to chase him by calling him continously.sometimes he’d answer the call and say "I will call you back" and never call back, but most of the times he does not answer our calls.
Finally after almost more than a week, he told us that the document is lost and they are unable to trace it! thats it.How can a courier company with whom we entrust our valuable documents be so irresponsible!?!?
I tried following up this issue with their Customer Care manager Mr. Umesh also, again, the same pathetic way of handling the issue. In just one day he stopped answering calls!
Even after explaining to Ravi and Umesh how critical the document is, they are least bothered. Till date they have not called us back to update us the status. And, because of this document not reaching on time, we have suffered unnecessarily.
Now, after repeated calls(most calls are never answered) and escalating the matter to Mr. Anand, Secretarty to the Director Mr. Srinath, they have sent us a "Non Traceability or the loss of Consignment" letter which is full of mistakes.
The To address mentioned is wrong
The letter is dated 7th August but reached us only on 16th August
The letter conveniently asks us to advice for stop payment if the courier contained any cheque or DD - 20 days after the consignment was booked.
