I had sent a courier to Mysore and used professional courier services as they even provide services to my company. I was horrified at the way a simple matter of producing genuine reciept has been twisted and turned to make life a living hell for me.
When I asked for a receipt for the courier I had sent and paid for, the courier boy did not bother to give me one for almost a week, on insistence he tells me that the receipt is lost. When I said I need to have the receipt to report the transaction to my finance, he tells me that he will get me a duplicate copy. Finally after many days of follow up, the courier guy walks in with a photocopy of the receipt which is useless to me. Finally I get to speak to his supervisor and he assures me I will get a receipt. Till date I have neither seen the courier guy nor my receipt.
It is extremely unfortunate that a large sized company has to resort to customer harassment of this nature. I have noticed in the past too, that the amount on he receipt I had recieved had been struck off and a higher amount was indicated.
All these instances just make me doubt the integrity/ professionalism of the organization and people.
