The Pursuit of Happiness is a motivating movie, starring Will Smith. Two of the best and famous dialog from the movie that is engraved into the minds of the audience(including me), areDont ever let somebody tell you. You cant do something. Not even me. All right? andyou got a dream. You gotta protect it. People cant do somethin themselves, they wanna tell you you cant do it. If you want somethin, go get it. Period. These words are told by Will Smith to his 5-year old son.
The movie depicts the real-life story of Chris Gardner, who is a salesman struggling to earn, so as to bring bread and butter to the table and serve his family, and how despite of his constant effort and hard work, his bad luck still doesnt let him achieve this basic necessity. This leads to a broken marriage, homeless situation, and sheer disappointment. But the undying spirit to still try and succeed and the right attitude is what matters the most to make it to the top.
Nothing comes easy. Chris is forced to live on the street with his son, but he handles the responsibility very well. Ambitious about being a stockbroker, he approaches one stockbroker to help him find a job and is constantly turned down, but since he manages to solve the Rubiks puzzle in few minutes, he leaves the stock broker impresses, who arranges an interview. The scene of the interview is fabulous, where all the interviewers are quite smitten by his smart responses, and Chris gets the job. He works actively with great commitment and finally makes it big. The movie is very emotional and definitely moistens the eyes.
