The Raymond Apparel company has launched a Privileged Customer programme called PREMIUM CIRCLE. In this programme one gets a membership card on purchase of a minimum of Rs. 5000/- . On subsequent purchase at select Raymond shop, you earn points on presenting this membership card. Your card details are updated on the Raymond website and you can veiw the points accumulated on your card. On accumulating 250 points one gets a gift voucher worth INR. 250


The Irony is that, I got this for a purchase of suit in 2007 June. subsequently I made purchases in 2007 Sep as well as Jan 2008. None of these transactions appear in my  card account details except the initial one during June 2007.


There’s also a toll free no. on which one can reach the customer service personnel. All that tehse people have gopt to state is: there is a technical problem in uploading the details and the technical team is working on it. This is the reply since Deceber 2007 till date.


So beware when Raymond says it takes good care of its customers.


Also I’d bought a suit in May 2007 from Raymond store at Basaveshwaranagar, Bangalore. It had a damaged trouser, after repeated complaints the store manager was not able replace even after promising to do so. Added to it there was no reply to the mail I sent to the email-id mentioned in the Raymond website about this issue.


SO BEWARE OF THE COMPLETE MAN BRAND RAYMOND.
