Story is simple. It’s mainly about surviving against the odds. Leonardo is playing the protagonist and has done wonderful acting. The scene where he gets attacked by a full grown bear, is so realistic, it gave me goosebumps. Other scenes are also very good and make me cringe especially that when Hugh sleeps naked in the corpse of dead horse to protect himself from deadly cold. The way it is shot is excellent. It is like as you are watching all of it by standing there itself. Tom hardy as John is good as Leo. A must watch.
