Yesterday night I went to see The Revenant I must say it was one of the best movies I have ever seen, this was pure and unadultered realistic cinema, no wonder it is based amd inspired by true events and it did look that I was watching a real life story of such a brave and resiliant person, it was raw it was intense it wad high on emotions and had a spritual lesson giving angle too, hats off to Dicaprio, I have no words to describe his brilliance, he had the least number of dialouges un the film even when he was present on the screen for most of the times, But the emotions and expressions that he delivered by his face and body language was just outstanding. I don’t think anybody could have pulled this role off except Ducaprio, if for this he does not get an Oscar then god save the Oscars, coming to direction, what can I say for the director. I can just stand up and applaud, only the ability to have such a huge vision is spectacular, being able to project it on screen is even more spectacular but when a director has a ability to give goose bumps on every shot its sheer pure genius, the film is a Visula extravaganza, your eyes will be glued to the screen, you would not be able to take your eyes off, coming to Tom hardy he breathed life into Fitzgerald’s character. It was evil nasty and we felt every bit of it. Do yourself a favour and watch this one. Its worth every penny spend. Last but not the least I want to mention the background score of the movie its legendary. Can’t describe it in words. Go and experience it
