So I’ve been wanting to see this movie ever since the trailer was released. And after all this waiting I finally watched it. The Revenant - Undoubtedly a bone chilling and spine tingling movie. The only reason why I was so interested to watch it was Leo. And ofcourse Tom Hardy as well. It was definitely a bliss for people because Leo finally got an Oscar.Yayyyy. He totally deserved it.
He has done some pretty awesome roles in the past. Let’s not forget The Wolf of wall Street, Shutter Island, The Great Gatsby, Catch me if you can and many more. He even got a nomination for TWOWS, The Aviator and Blood Money. But this was the one he truly deserved an Oscar for. It was him.in the entire movie that held the audience together because the movie was somewhat slow and I could actually see some people moving out of the theater. But it was his splendid performance which took the movie to another level. Talking about the technicalities. Well the scenic filmography was perfect.
So perfect that I felt it was all happening in front of me and not on the screen. Every time something happened to Leo I actually flinched. That was the impact of the the cinematography. The locations were beautiful which actually gave an idea of the era which was portrayed in the movie .The amazing soundtrack which could give you shivers. Lastly, Tom Hardy’s performance and the movie is complete. In short The Revenant is something you just cannot afford to miss. So go for it.Go for Leo if not for the movie.
