The revenant is yet another thriller directed by Alejandro.
But this time I felt the script was not that strong, I felt very weak and dull script.
Plot overview-
Caprico as Hugh glass is a experienced and a senior hunting person of group who are trading skins and so collecting and carrying skins.
But they are under attack by the tribal Indians and losses half of the members, the group is lead by Domhnall Gleeson as Captain Andrew Henry and are on the move to safe place.
Glass’s son Hawk is one of the member of the group and is the only person he have after loosing his wife and he tries to protect him as he loves him a lot.
At night this group camp in the jungle and Caprico guards them but is under attack by a bear who tears him apart on his back and front and caprico is in blood shed and not able to move or talk.
After hearing some gunshots the group reaches to caprico and notices his pathetic health and tries to give him Aid.
And captain decides to take him in stretcher all the way as they respect him a lot and owes him their life.
But Tom hardy as John Fitzgerald another member of the group disagrees this and says they should kill Caprico so that they can move fast and reach safely.
But captain denies and then they comes on mutual understanding and asks john to stay by Glass until he dies and bury him with due respect and offers him high reward for the same.
And then the group divides and injured glass john hawk and one more boy stays by and others march on.
But when nobody is near by john tries to kill glass but hawk sees him tries to stop him and john end up killing Hawk.
Glass who cant even shout sees this but cant do anything.
John lies the 4th boy in group and they move on but from that stage Glass tries to get better and hunt for John all the way.
But it is not a easy journey with tribal Indians hunting by and with his bad health conditions can he reach upto john and take the revenge for his son!
Best scene-
Glass traps John by placing a dead body in a sitting poster on horse ahead of him and he pretends to be a dead body.
Likes-
The cinematography is the best part of this movie as it is wonderfully pictured.
Capricos acting has been so marvelous that you will feel he is living it.
Tom hardy have done a splendid job with great emotions.
Some scenes are really heart touching and just makes you Numb!
Dislikes-
The plot is not that great like usual caprico movies and expected bit more.
Conclusion-
I wont say this the best caprico movie because he have done better work in aviator and shutter island but he have done a amazing work in this movie too.
If you want some fun or you want some motivating thing to watch then this is not that movie, this is one that you should sit alone and enjoy the acting of caprico.
