A beautiful creation of god, rains. I love them. Well, who doesn’t! Rains have a very special and significant role in Bollywood. As we all know, ’a naari in a drenched saari’ is must in a masala bollywood movie and most of the times referred to as ’paisa wasool’ by indian public! Be it a crying sad song, a steamy hot number or a romantic love song, little or more rain added, makes it interesting. So, how about a review on some wet songs from bollywood which come across our minds whenever we talk of something like ’bollywood baarish’ !
So, get ready with your umbrellas, put on your raincoats...Its going to rain all through this review!
Romantic Rain :
Pyar hua ikraar hua hai.(Shree 420) Raj Kapoor and Nargis holding the umbrella in the entire song.
Aaj rapat jaayen to : One of the most popular rain song of its time. Dripping Amitabh and drenched Smita Patil in a transparent white saree with their latkas and jhatkas in rain.
Rim Jhim rim jhim :(1942 A love story) A very melodious and romantic rain song. I love to sing it or listen to it, whenever it rains! I only wish somebody else wud have sung this song apart from Kumar Sanu.
Badal yun garajta hai : (Betaab) A good romantic rain song featuring Amrita Singh and young sunny deol. Afterall, its R.D Burman.

Haaye haaye ye majboori, ye mausam aur ye doori :(Roti Kapda aur makaan) NOT for wet Zeenat aman in the rain but I do like this rain song. esp the lines..’’teri do takiya ki naukri mein mera lakhon ka sawan jaaye!’’ cool one!
Tip tip barsa paani, paani ne aag laga di : (Mohra) Raveena Tondon served hot ! seducing Akshay Kumar by dancing in the rain. Well, dont you think monsoons are HOT!
7.Aakhir tumhe aana hai, zara der lagegi : (Yulgaar) A Fatso (Nagma) getting wet in the rain luring her partner, Sanjay Dutt.
