Way back in 1993 I landed in Bangalore for the first time and my friends took me to this chinese joint called the ’’Rice Bowl’’ then on the Brigade road. I had a superb meal, one of the best chinese cusine in India. I have been visiting this place since then occasionally. They then shifted to Lavelle Road.
Of late this was going southwards. They managed to employee a lot of these dumb and rude asian dudes as waiters who hardly manage to string a few words of english to communicate with the customers. They stand like the great wall of china for everything you throw at them. The final nail on the coffin was my experience yesterday when they also served food that kept me in the toilet for a good part of today. One of the cons of cost cutting ;) ( on the chefs they hire and the hygiene). I have decided not to visit this place going forward unless I hear from any of my friends about them getting better on the quality side of restraunting!!!
Cons:
No A/C working and hot as sitting next to the chef whos’ cooking for you,
attitude a disgrace to the service industry,
Food is Junk !!!
Lots of bad cooking oil
